Antique & custom furniture restoration
Furniture Restoration from the Frame Up
Structural repairs, renewed padding, and carefully finished upholstery for antique, vintage, and custom furniture.
The approach
Restoration starts with understanding what is already there. We strip pieces back, inspect the frame and joinery, rebuild where needed, and finish the upholstery with the character of the furniture in mind.
See what the piece needs
The workshop process can reveal worn fabric, exposed foam, or a frame that needs attention. Our documented sectional restoration shows the piece in its original condition, stripped to its walnut platform frame, and completed with its button tufting and brass casters retained.
Respect the original form
A Parsons sofa rebuild, mid-century sectional, and pair of X-frame stools show three different approaches to restoring upholstered furniture. Material, profile, pattern placement, and finish are considered together.
Bring us the story
Photographs are a useful first step for an heirloom or vintage piece. We can discuss condition, upholstery options, and the appropriate scope before preparing an estimate.
